Some programs, such as the standard/basic versions of Ancestral Quest, Legacy Family Tree, Family Tree Builder, and RootsMagic. I use Legacy as my 1 mainly because I like their sources/citations (& that it was developed with Elizabeth Shown Mills as consultant). I must decide between Legacy and RootsMagic and would appreciate the advice of those with Legacy experience. I like different features in each, but truthfully, form follows function, and they all more or less manage genealogy tasks. RootsMagic is the first ordinance request certified genealogy program.
